Obituary of Luigi Ciprian

CIPRIAN, LUIGI-Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday July 13, 2007, at the age of 76. Luigi is survived by his wife of 50 years Angelina, daughter Margaret (Brian) Marion, sons Paul (Lina) Ciprian and Edi Ciprian and by his sister Cesarina Ciprian in Italy. Beloved nonno of Jessica, Daniel, and Kelley Marion and Stephen, Alex and Jeffrey Ciprian. Luigi will also be missed by special nephews Tiziano Ciprian and Denis Ciprian in Canada and by nieces, nephews, and friends in both Italy and Canada. Luigi was born in Romans, Italy and immigrated to Canada in 1954. Luigi was a founding member of the Club Roma and involved in the club's youth soccer program. He also was a member of the Niagara Fogolar Furlan. Luigi worked in the construction industry for many years and was an avid hunter in his spare time. Luigi is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street until Monday July 16th at 10:30 am. Funeral Liturgy will take place at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 169 St. Paul Crescent on Monday July 16th at 11:00am. Vigil prayers will be recited at the funeral home on Sunday July 15th at 8:30pm. Visitation will be held on Sunday July 15th from 2-4pm and from 7-9pm. Cremation to follow with inurnment at a later date. Memorial donations may be made in Luigi`s honor to The Heart and Stroke Foundation or to The Canadian Diabetic Association.
