Obituary of Wanda Cichowicz
CICHOWICZ, Wanda-
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Wanda passed away peacefully in her home on June 11, 2007.
Devoted mother of Gisele Scandrett, Celine Tomaschewski (Fred), Monique Bucko (Richard) and Ann-Marie Cichowicz. Loving and cherished Babcia of Tina, Andrew (Carolynn), Tammy (Randy), Manfred (Jen), Christopher (Barb), Leah, Danielle, Bradley and Rebecca. Great-grandmother of Stacy, Megan, Anthony, Chloe, Austin, Aiden, Melanie and Grayson. Also survived by her brother Lou (Liske) of Belgium, many nieces, nephews and her many friends-especially Janine. Predeceased by her husband Ted, her brother Bruno and son in law Dennis Scandrett.
Wanda was a member of the Polish Legion-Branch 418.
In accordance to her wishes, cremation has taken place.
Wanda's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Sunday, June 17th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, June 18th in the funeral home chapel at 10am. Inurnment to follow Victoria Lawn Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Red Cross would be appreciated by the family.
She will be forever irreplaceable and sadly missed.
