Dear David & Family,
I am sending you my heart felt sympathy for the loss of such a wonderful lady. I am sure that she was many things to many people. She truly went beyond her call of duty here at Community Care. I shall always remember her as a soft spoken kind soul that put her heart & soul into her help & concern for the less fortunate. May you take comfort in your precious memories of her and I feel sure that her teachings will live on through your children, grand children and future generations to come.
I am sorry for your loss,
With deep sympathy,
Susan Carroll

Dear David: I just wanted to let you know how very sad I am to hear that Mair has died. I know what a long and happy time you had together and you will miss her very much indeed. I remember Ridley days with great joy and think of them often. My best wishes to you and the girls--I can't believe that you are a grandparent and know how much being with your grandchildren will fill your life. Juliana

Jennifer,
I hope this note will still get to you. There is no excuse for taking this long to connect with you. Margaret had been passing along the news.
There are no words and I'm more clumsy than most when facing death. Like all loss of anything significant time allows for grief to be experienced, but one is never over it.
I remember how close your family is. I hope you have been able to support each other.
On another note. A couple of months ago your name was spoken during a sermon at the Church of the Redeemer which we now attend. Andrew (Andy) was telling a story about a dream he had that had actually happened. You, Andrew and another girl from Ridley were standing together before a race at the pool. I forget the other details. I spoke with Andrew afterward and made the connection. He now swears he will never use real names again. He had thought that no one would have any idea and in fact not only had I spoken to him, but my nephew (William Reid sings in the Redeemer choir) did as well because he went to highschool with the other woman's daughter.
Anyway you have been in my thoughts in a number of ways. It would be good to reconnect more directly.
Blessings,
Susan Graham Walker
