Chris
My condolences to you and your family. As you know I worked with you Dad from 1975 until his retirement. He was not only the "boss" but he became a very good friend and mentor and we spent many hours over a cold beer discussing everything from the Civil War, public health to local politics. He could appear rough and tough on the outside but I found him to be very compassionate and was concerned for everyones well-being. If anyone at work every had any family issue, that always came first. He was very proud of you and spoke of you often...and I will always remember him feeding you "Tube Steaks" at his place in Jarvis when you were just a little guy. He believed in the importance of family and it was great of you to have him living with you as he enjoyed the grand kids so much. In fact he gave me a picture of your oldest and it is on my bulletin board. I'll miss him. Unfortunately, I will be away on Thursday and won't be able to make the service but I'll be thinking about Jack.
