Obituary of Joseph Nano Carlucci

CARLUCCI, JOSEPH NANO Surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday May 1, 2007 at the Hotel Dieu Shaver Hospital, at 78 years of age. Beloved husband of the late Janet for 50 years. Loving father of Joe (Jennifer), Cathy (Gene), and John (Olga). Cherished grandpa of Adam, Emily, Amanda, Matthew and Boris. Dear brother of Delphine, Raye,and Evo (Mary). Brother in law of Joyce (Jacques) Beaubien. Joseph was predeceased by his sister Joan. Joseph will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was employed with General Motors of Canada for 48 years. He spent many years coaching baseball in Merritton, loved the Yankees but lived for his grandchildren. Joseph is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St until Saturday at 9am. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in St. Julia Church at 9:30am. Rite of committal in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Vigil prayers will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 2:30pm. Visiting hours are Friday 2-4 and 7-9pm. Memorial remembrances to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
