Obituary of Mary Bernice Skrydstrup

SKRYDSTRUP, Mary Bernice Peacefully on April 29, 2007 at Linhaven Home after a hard fought illness our beloved Mom left for her eternal home at the age of 81. Wife of the late Walter (1970) and soulmate to John. Cherished mother of Sandra (Sandy) Santarelli and Debi (Bill) Wilson. Also survived by her brothers Charlie (late Anne) Obee and Joe (Grace) Obee. Nana will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Dayna (Paul) Lendvoy, Ryan White (Sabrina Hogan) and Kerri Wilson, her great grandchildren Taylor and Ashley and her many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to extend our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Wong and the nursing staff on the Brock Unit of Linhaven for their care and compassion. Mary's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Wednesday, May 2nd from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A Funeral Liturgy Without Mass will be celebrated in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, May 3rd at 11am. Rite of Committal to follow Victoria Lawn Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. Her smile will be remembered forever, Rest in Peace.
