Obituary of Charles Robert Daykin

DAYKIN CHARLES ROBERT (Chuck) Peacefully, at his home, surrounded by his loving family on Monday April 16th, 2007, at 62 years of age. Beloved husband of Mary Ann for 39 years. . Loving father of Robert and David (Lynn). Proud grandfather of Jasmine and Shelby Lynn. Cherished son of Maebelle and the late Fred Daykin. Dear brother of Ron (Anne) and Mary Winn (Frank Coletta). Dear brother in law of Frank (Linda) Sebok, Paulette (Gordon) Dent, Michael (Brenda) Sebok. Chuck will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Predeceased by his in laws Mary and Frank Sebok.Chuck was the current Grand Knight of Council 9222 Third Degree, Vice President of Holy Name Society of Niagara, formerly active with the Garden City Kiwanis for over 25 years. Chuck retired from the Ford Motor Co. in 2004 after 39 years of employment and was a member of CAW Local 707. Chuck is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St.until Saturday at 9 am. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in St. Alfred's Church at 9:30am. Rite of committal in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Visiting hours are Thursday 7-9 and Friday 2-4 and 7-9pm. Vigil prayers will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 3pm. Memorial remembrances to the Diabetes Association or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
