Obituary of Caroline Mieczylawa Osowiec

OSOWIEC, Caroline- Passed away peacefully on Monday April 9th, 2007 at Henley House nursing home, in her 91st year. Predeceased by her husband John, son Henry and daughter Jean. Loving mother of Irene (Read) Wilson and Edward (Janice) Osowiec. Babcia will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Gary, Artie and Craig Douglas, Eddie, Bryan, Michael and Melanie Osowiec and six great-grandchildren. She is survived by her sister Janina Pitynska and her brother Mieczyslaw Panczyk of Poland, as well as many other relatives in the United States and Poland. Caroline was proud to be a Past President of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Polish Legion Branch 418. Caroline's family will receive family and visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME 585 Carlton St. on Thursday from 7 - 9 p.m. A celebration of Caroline's life will be celebrated in the George Darte Funeral Chapel on Friday 13, 2007 at 11:30 a.m. Vigil prayers will take place Thursday night at 8 p.m. Cremation to Follow. In lieu of flowers a contribution to a charity of one's choice would be appreciated.
