Obituary of Robert Felix Champagne

Champagne, Robert Felix Peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on Monday, April 9, 2007 at Hotel Dieu Shaver Hospital at 80 years of age. Best friend and loving husband of Juliette for 55 years, loving dad of the late Viviane (2003), Andre (Lynn), Ron (Maureen), Diane (Peter) Westveer, John (Connie), Anne Marie Lennard-Otto (Manny Otto) , Monique (Doug) Hines, dear Grandpa of Matthew, Andrew, Denise, Nicole, Daniel, Adam, Greg, Jennifer, Stephen, Renee, Jacquelynne, Jason, Meghan and Trevor, brother of Marie Marthe, Roberte, Marcel, Gilles, Roger, Marie Paule, Therese, Diane and predeceased by Aline, Fr. Jean Marie, Guy and Roland. He will be remembered by many nieces and nephews. Mr. Champagne was a member of St. Alfred's Church, the Knights of Columbus and the Niagara Amputee Association. Mr. Champagne is resting at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St. until Friday at 10:30 a.m. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in St. Alfred's Church at 11 a.m. with cremation to follow. Visiting Hours Thursday 2-4 and 6:30-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers for Robert will be held in the funeral home on Thursday at 7 p.m. Memorial Remembrances can be made to Niagara Amputee Association.
