WERNER, Gabriele Marqarate KathePassed away peacefully at her home after a long courageous battle with cancer, on Thursday March 1, 2007 in her 60th year. Gabriele was born in Berlin, Germany. Beloved wife of the late Ernest Werner. Loving mother of Michael and wife (Alison), Christine, and Philip and wife (Tina). Cherished grandmother of Mia and Sophie, dearest daughter of Ilse Hammond-Parey and the late Guenther Parey. Predeceased by her sister Cathryn Luhm. Gabriele will be lovingly remembered by many family and friends. Mrs. Werner was a dedicated teacher of 28 years. The family would like to sincerely thank Dr. Kerley, his staff, and all the support staff from CCAC, Paramed and the Red Cross. Gabriele's family will receive friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME 585 Carlton St. on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday March 5, 2007 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. "Your humble courage, your love, will always be held and Cherished.
