Obituary of Alexander Tyszko

TYSZKO ALEXANDER It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Alexander Tyszko, age 80, at the St. Catharines General Hospital, on Tuesday February 20th, 2007. Beloved husband of Sabina. Loving father of Dennis, Leslie (Lisa Van Sickle) and Diana (William Whitehead) Also dear grandpa of Shelby Van Sickle and Olivia Whitehead. Alex was born in Poland in 1926 and immigrated to Canada in 1949 . Mr. Tyszko is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St until Saturday at 9:15 am. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 5 Oblate St., at 9:45 am. Rite of committal in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Visiting hours are Friday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Vigil prayers will be held in the funeral home on at Friday at 7 pm. Memorial remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the nursing staff of the Oncology and Palliative Care Units at St. Catharines General Hospital.
