Obituary of Jack Bennett Pinder

PINDER, Jack Bennett "I walk with love along the way, And O it is a holy day; No more I suffer cruel fear, I feel God's presence with me here; The joy that none can take away is mine; I walk with love today" The family of Jack Bennett Pinder give thanks for his life. Jack, in his 82nd year, left us peacefully on Saturday, February 17, 2007, at the Hotel Dieu-Shaver Rehab. Jack is survived by his dear friend Edna Nuttal, daughter Susan Brazeal, grandson Daniel, sisters Phyllis Macro and Edna (Ross) Terry. He is predeceased by his sisters Muriel Wintemute, Dorothy Blair, June Pinder, Barbara Savard and brothers Ben, Bob, George and William. Jack is lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Jack was a veteran of World War II, serving his country proudly. At Jack's request , cremation has taken place. Jack's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Saturday, February 24, 2007 from 9:30am -10:30am. A memorial service to celebrate his life will follow in the funeral home chapel at 11am. Inurnment at Victoria Lawn Cemetery following the service. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the First Church of Christ Scientist would be appreciated by the family. Many thanks to the Doctors and Nurses at the St. Catharines General Hospital and Shaver for all their loving care.
