Obituary of Ernie Harry Boese

BOESE ERNIE Surrounded by his loving family on Thursday February 8th, 2007, at the St. Catharines General Hospital, at 91 years of age. Beloved husband of the late C. Rosella (1999) to whom he was married for 56 years. Loving father Brian (Rita) of St. Catharines, Lee (Gena) of Thorold, Heather Ann (Bill) Matson of Niagara Falls and Douglas (Valerie) of St. Catharines. Survived by 18 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. Ernie was predeceased by his son Adrian. Ernie was a veteran of WW11, and a life member of Imperial Veterans. He retired from General Motors of Canada in 1985 and was a former executive on the St Catharines Game and Fish Association serving two terms as president. Mr. Boese is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. where a service to celebrate his life will be held on Monday at 11:00am. Interment in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Visiting hours are Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Memorial remembrances to the Diabetic Association or Niagara Short Hill Christian Ministries would be appreciated by the family.
