Obituary of Maria Guiseppina Telese

TELESE, Maria (Di Pietro)- An Amazing woman has graced the gates of heaven with her arrival. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Maria Giuseppina Telese (Di Pietro) with her family by her side at the St. Catharines General Hospital-NHS in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late Michele Di Pietro (1958). Loving Mother of Gaetano (Antonietta) Di Pietro, Antonio (Rosa) Di Pietro, Giovanni (Velma) Di Pietro, Angelina (Domenico) Del Priore, Gerarda (Gerardo) Del Priore, Almerinda (Prisco) Sasso and Maria (Gerardo) Ricciardi. Beloved Sister of Melela, Maria and Gina. Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. Adored Grandmother of 19 and Greatgrandmother of 15. Maria was predeceased by her parents Antonio and Michela Cristiano, also by her brother Giuseppe and nephew Antonio. Her strong will and ability to live life to the fullest was admired by all. She will be greatly missed. A special thanks to Dr. Kim and the nurses in the Intensive Care Unit for all their care and support. Maria is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL 585 Carlton Street until Thursday morning at 10:30 a.m.. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Alfred's Roman Catholic Church on Thursday February 8, 2007 at 11 a.m. Entombment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Visitation on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 3 p.m. If desired memorial donations may be made to Kidney Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
