Obituary of Luigi DiFrancesco

DiFrancesco Luigi Peacefully on Sunday January 28, 2007, at the St. Catharines General Hospital, at 82 years of age, Luigi was reunited with his loving daughter Antoinette, in the arms of Jesus. Beloved husband of Ada, for 58 years.. Loving father of Antonio, Rocco and Lora, Gino and Joanne and father in law of Gerri Perlingieri. Cherished Nonno of Paula, Michael, Chantelle, Erica, Kiana and great grandchildren Antoinette and Alexa.Dear brother of Alfonso and Corradina. Brother in law of Grazia Costantini and Dorindo Costantini. Uncle of Gabriel, Guglielmo, Paul and Giselle, Francesca and Fillipo, Nicola, Dina, Dave and Lauren. Luigi will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Predeceased by his parents Paolo and Louisa, his sister Gilda Marcella and brother in law Guilio Costantini. Luigi was a member of Club Roma for 46 years and was employed with the City of St Catharines for 37 years. His singing and humour will always be remembered by his family. Luigi is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. until Thursday at 9am. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in St. Alfred's Church at 9:30am. Entombment in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Visiting hours are Tuesday 7-9pm and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9pm. Vigil prayers will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday at 3pm. Memorial remembrances to Greenpeace would be appreciated by the family.
