Dear Erna and family,
We were saddened to read of the passing of our long ago friend Jake. We met him many years ago at the home of Jake and Maria Gass, when he first arrived in Canada. We knew Monica and Edmund as little children and spent many happy times with Jake in those early years when we were all new to this country. He was also a guest at our wedding in 1956. We regret that we lost contact over the years but never forgot those times.
