Obituary of Wanda Leokadia Czerechowicz

Czerechowicz Wanda - Peacefully on Thursday Jan. 11, 2007, 79 years of age at the St. Catharines General Hospital-NHS. Wanda was predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph (1984), as well as her cherished daughter Ania Chamberlain (2005) and her dearly loved son Adam (2006). Wanda will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her granddaughter Larissa & David Osborne, and her grandsons Adam Chamberlain and Shane Levy. Wanda will also be missed by her great grandaughters Wynona and Veronika Osborne and Paige Chamberlain. Wanda also had many close friends who will miss her. During WW ll Wanda fled her home in Poland, she and her family arrived in Canada in 1951. Wanda was a courageous survivor of the Second World War and of life's hardest moments. She was a devoted and generous provider for her family. Wanda brought music and laughter to those who knew her best. Wanda was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. Wanda's family will receive friends at the George Darte Funeral Chapel 585 Carlton St. on Sunday from 2-4 pm. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church on Monday at 11 am. Rite of Committal will be held beside her husband in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Vigil prayers for Wanda will be said on Sunday at 3 pm. Donations in memory of Wanda may be made to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church or the Canadian Wildlife Federation would be appreciated by the family.
