Obituary of Savina Riganelli

RIGANELLI SAVINA (nee: Antici) Surrounded by her loving family on Monday January 1, 2007 at the St. Catharines General Hospital, at 77years of age. Beloved wife of Mario, for 50 years. Loving mother of Cathy (Luciano) Cappelli, Paul (Autumn Watson) Riganelli, Carla (Charlie) Bufalino and Frank Riganelli. Cherished nonna of Daniel, Christopher, Mara, Deana, Christie, Elora, Rebecca, Devon, Mitchell and Dante. Dear sister of Maria Pia and Osvaldo Stroppa and the late Celestina and Giacinto Cinti. Dear sister in law of Rita and the late Joe Patrick, Antonina and the late Silvio Bisci,Nick and Marisa Riganelli, Ida and the late Nazzareno Riganelli, Gino and Lucy Riganelli, mother in law of Anne Riganelli. Zia will be missed by many nieces and nephews in Italy and Canada. Savina was a member of both St. Alfred's and Club Roma Choirs. She was involved with the Italian Community of St. Alfred's Parish. Mrs. Riganelli is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. until Friday at 10:30am. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in St. Alfred's Church at 11am. Rite of committal in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Visiting hours are Wednesday 7-9 and Thursday 2-4 and 7-9pm. Vigil prayers will be held in the funeral home on Thursday at 3pm.Memorial remembrances to Alzheimer†™s Society or Catholic Missions in Canada would be appreciated by the family.
