Obituary of Diana Ovenden

Ovenden, Diana Elizabeth - On Monday January 1 2007 at her home with the presence of her loving family, in her 86th year. Beloved wife to the late Henry (1989). Loving mother of Rolly, Terry, Shelia and her dog Taz . Also, Diane Lemon (Paul) of Niagara Falls, Lil Lambert (Rick) of Niagara Falls, Jim (Marj) of Fonthill, Louise of Welland, Paul (Nancy), Marie all of St. Catharines. Survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Also survived by 3 sisters Lucy, Margaret and Violet and a brother Chris all in Hamilton as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by one son, Albert (1967). Diana was a member of the former Ladies Auxilliary of the C.A.W. # 50. Diana is resting at the George Darte Funeral Chapel 585 Carlton St. until Friday at 12:30 pm. A ceremony to celebrate Diana's life will be held in the George Darte Funeral Chapel at 1 pm. Interment in Pleasantview Memorial Gardens. Visiting hours are Wednesday and Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Memorial remembrances to the Hamilton War Amputations of Canada c/o the Champ Program, or the Niagara Chapter of the Alzheimers Society would be appreciated by the family.
