To all the family I am so sorry to hear about Doug, he was the first friend I ever had, I will cherish the memories of our childhood summers in Rawdon. Dear Mavis you wrote me a very beautiful letter when my Mother passed away that helped me through the hard times, you wrote of remembering the good times and that time would heal the pain, you were right, it may take months maybe even years but everything will be O.K.
Love always
Jamie

I was deeply saddened to hear the death of Doug last week. We had worked together for many years at Quebecor on the Sears account. He was a strong part of our team and a great employee. I am so very sorry that he died far to young. To the entire Griffiths family my thoughts are with you remembering Doug as a wonderful young man, son, brother and loving father.
Sincerely, Brian Rollo

I can honestly say that not once did I ever speak with Doug and not come away with a smile on my face...I had the privelege of working with him in the Aurora facility and was always amazed at his commitment to family...He always brightened the day and I shared many many laughs with him...I do not know any of his family but I do know how much he loved his kids and very much respected his committment to them...my most sincere condolences to all of you...please know we are with you in this time of mourning...the world has truly lost a good soul..

I was deeply saddened to hear the news of Doug's sudden death.
I worked with Doug at the Quebecor-Aurora facility. Doug was a very positive and helpful person to work with. He also was a very dedicated employee, and his promotion to sales was well deserved.
But, his true love and focus was his family. You couldn't help but smile when visiting with him as his cubicle was decorated with pictures of his children and their artwork. He always spoke proudly of his children, and eagerly looked forward to their time together.
You have my deepest sympathy during this difficult time. I am sure that we are all in a state of shock. I will miss him very much.
Sincerely,
Michelle Edwards

My deepest condolences go to Doug's family. Doug and I went to school together at Niagara College. He and I have lost touch over the years but when we were in school, he and I use to have a great time together. You could always count on him to make you smile. I realize the hardships that this has caused and hope the best for Doug's family and friends.
