Torelli, Tullio With great sorrow we announce the peaceful passing of Tullio Torelli at the St. Catharines General Hospital-NHS on Saturday, December 2, 2006 aged 75 years. Beloved husband of 50 years, to Stella and loving and caring father of Annamaria (Tony) DiMaurizio, Mario (Tami) Torelli and Carlo (Jennifer) Torelli. Dearest and loving Nonno of Lisa, Mara and Romina DiMaurizio. Dear brother of Clementina Sardini, Marcello (Maria) Torelli, Ernano (Maria) Torelli, Tony (Grazia) Torelli, Emidio (Serenella) Torelli all of Italy, Vincenzo Torelli of St. Catharines. Brother-in-law of Elisa Marrone, Tina DiSerafino all of Belgium and Rita DiSerafino of St. Catharines. Uncle of Vilma (Pat) Vergalito. Tullio will be missed and remembered by many nieces and nephews from Europe and Canada. He was predeceased by brothers-in-law Emidio Sardini, Regalo Marrone, Gino DiSerafino, Venicio DiSerafino, and sister-in-law Linda Torelli. Tullio worked in the coal mines in Belgium before coming to Canada in 1958 where he then worked as a welder at the Port Weller Dry Docks retiring in 1984. He was a long time member of Club Roma in St. Catharines and member of the St. Alfred's Church Parish. Tullio's family will receive friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton Street Monday and Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Liturgy will be held at St. Alfred's Church on Wednesday, December 6, 2006 at 11:00 am. Entombment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Parish prayers will be recited at the funeral home Tuesday at 3:00 pm. If desired memorial donations may be made to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation, Canadian Diabetes Association or Lung Association.
