Obituary of David Allan Broadley McSweeney

McSWEENEY, David Allan Broadley (Valstar) Passed away suddenly at the age of 26 on October 13, 2006 as the result of a tragic car accident. Sadly missed by his loving and devoted mother Terri Valstar (McSweeney) and father Allan Broadley. David is survived by his brothers Billy, Shannon, and Hayden. Sadly missed and fondly remembered by his loving grandmother Margaret Ballantyne, uncles and aunts Colin McSweeney and Pat McAuley, Susan and Bruce Eckert, Pat McSweeney, his cousins Erin, Shane,Josh, Jeremy, Michael and Andrew. David was an active and dedicated member of his congregation and community. He will be greatly missed and always remembered by countless friends. David's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines, Ontario on Thursday, Oct. 19th and Friday, Oct. 20th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. There will be a graveside funeral service on Saturday, Oct. 21st at 9:30 am at Victoria Lawn Cemetery, St. Catharines where the support of family and friends is welcome. A memorial service for David will follow in the auditorium of Laura Secord Secondary School, 349 Niagara Street, St. Catharines at 11am. In accordance to David's wishes, memorial donations to the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society (Worldwide Missionary Work) would be appreciated.
