Obituary of Lorraine Dorothy Price

Price, Lorraine Dorothy - After a brief battle with lung cancer on the evening of Wednesday October 4, 2006 at the St.Catharines General Hospital in her 51st year. Loving mother and best friend to her son Jason Sweet of Virgil. Will be sadly missed by her mother Dorothy of Niagara Falls, sister Linda Ware (Mike) of Huntsville and brother Dave (Katherine) of St. Catharines. Also survived by her niece Michelle and many other nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her father Les (1996), brother Dale (2000) and sister Leslie (2005). Lorraine is resting at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St. until 1pm Sunday. A celebration of Lorraine's life will be held in the George Darte Funeral Chapel at 1:30pm. Cremation will follow the chapel service. Visiting hours are Saturday 2-4 and 7-9pm. Memorial remembrances may be made to the St. Catharines General Hospital Cancer Care Centre in Lorraine' s honour.
