Obituary of John Taylor
TAYLOR, JohnDied peacefully at home on Friday September 15, 2006 with his family by his side. Born in Scotland on June 1/31. Survived by his loving wife Joan (Millar), his daughters Diane Taylor (Paul) of Kitchener and Lynn Pigage (Lee) of Whitehorse, Yukon. He will be sadly missed by grandchildren Gillian (Mike), R.J., Justin, Mallory, great grand-daughter Kayla, aunt Peggy, uncle Cochrane, sister-in-law Greta, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by son Ian and brother Randy. John worked for the City of St. Catharines for 28 years. He enjoyed fixing things, playing cards, golfing, fishing, gardening, making wine and delivering Meals on Wheels. Many thanks to Dr. Hartman, Marion and her team. John's family will receive friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME 585 Carlton Street on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A celebration of John's life will be held in the chapel on Wednesday September 20, 2006 at 11 am.. Cremation has taken place. If desired memorial donations may be made to Community Care or a charity of one's choice.
