Obituary of Lawrence George Wells

Wells, Lawrence George (Bap) Suddenly on Wednesday, September 13, 2006 at St. Catharines General Hospital-NHS at 59 years of age. Husband and best friend of Loretta, father of Gregory (Tiffany). Held forever in the arms of his parents James (1992) and Patricia (2006). Brother of Donna Malloy (Cliff), uncle of Tricia Foote (Scott) and their children Amanda and Daniel. Loving friend of Sharon Attwood. Bap was an avid fisherman and Toronto Maple Leaf fan. He enjoyed his Wednesday night sails with his brother-in-laws Kevin, Dan and Mike Labonte. He was very involved in sports and the St. Catharines Rowing Club, a proud member of Branch 350 Royal Canadian Legion (previously Branch 24). He was retired from Niagara College and recently from his part time position as a driver for Shoppers Drug Mart, Lake St. Family will receive friends at George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St. on Friday from 7-9 p.m. A Royal Canadian Legion Service will be held in the funeral home Friday at 8 p.m. A Memorial Service to celebrate Lawrence's life will be held at Star of the Sea Church on Saturday at 10 a.m. Memorial Remembrances can be made to St. Catharines General Hospital Oncology Department or a charity of your choice.
