Obituary of Alexander Hagopian

With sadness at the St. Catharines General Hospital-NHS on Thursday August 17, 2006 at the age of 74. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Lucielle. Loving father to the late Samuel Hagopian, survived by Anna Marie and Garbis Lakhoian, Charlie Hagopian, Juliette Hagopian and Mark Gebel, Alexander Hagopian, Sandra and Missak Najarian. He will be greatly missed by his 17 grandchildren: Liza, Yervant, Santoukht, Samuel, Corey, Lucy, Koko, Hagop, Chantelle, Linda, Alexander, Zaven, Talin, Tanya, Jordan, Sarkis and Tess. Predeceased by brother Zaven Hagopian, survived by his sister Mary Merian and his niece Stephanie Merian and nephews David and Michael Hagopian. Mr. Hagopian†™s family will receive family and friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton Street, on Sunday August 20, 2006 and Monday August 21, 2006 between 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday August 22, 2006 at 1pm at the St. Thomas Anglican Church, 99 Ontario Street, with interment in Victoria Lawn Ceremony. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in the memory of Mr. Hagopian to the St. Catharines Armenian Community Centre, would be appreciated by the family.
