Obituary of Zella Nicholls-Jacobi

JACOBI-NICHOLLS, Zella Marjorie (nee Lyons) Peacefully surrounded by her family at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Tuesday August 8, 2006 at the age of 81. Beloved wife of Harold Jacobi. Loving mother of Donald (Linda) Nicholls of St. Catharines and Ken E. Nicholls of Peterborough and 6 stepchildren. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Stephen (Lisa) Nicholls, Tanya (Dan) Rainville and Kasey Nicholls and 13 step-grandchildren. Fondly remembered by her 9 Great Grandchildren. Loving sister to Ralph (Helen) Lyons, Ruth (Bert) Clark, Harvey (Sharon) Lyons, Shirley (late Maurice) Pollard, and the late Marian & Al Holmes. Zella will be sadly missed by her many sisters and brothers-in-law and neices and nephews. Predecased by her parents Ernest (1968) and Gertrude (1988) Lyons, and husbands Richard Nicholls (1955) and John Nicholls (1974) and daughter-in-law Elizabeth (Smyth) Nicholls (1986). Zella's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Thursday, August 10th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A funeral service to celebrate her life will take place in the funeral home chapel on Friday, August 11th at 1pm. Burial to follow at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens, Fonthill. If desired, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the St. Catharines General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
