Obituary of Elizabeth Marie Durward

Durward-Elizabeth Marie (Bette) Suddenly at the St. Catharines General Hospital- NHS on Monday August 7, 2006 in her 76th year. Born in Sussex, New Brunswick Bette was the loving wife and best friend of the late Robert (2004) and devoted mother of her loving daughter Sandy and her late son David R. Durward (1979). Loving sister of Lois Mitchell of Chatham, Ontario. Dearly loved by the Waddell Family, especially Laura, Jennifer and Maxford. Bette will also be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by all her Godchildren and her many many friends. Special thanks to Carolyn, Pam, Robynne and the many others who gave special care and love to Bette in the final weeks of her wonderful life. Bette's family will receive friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME 585 Carlton St. Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Bette's life will be held in the chapel Friday August 11, 2006 at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. If desired memorial donations may be given to Canadian Cancer Society, Hospice Niagara or Canadian Diabetes Association.
