Giacomino, MatteoPeacefully surrounded by his family, at the St. Catharines General Hospital-NHS on Saturday August 5, 2006 in his 84th year. Beloved husband of 58 years to Filomena (Milano) and loving father of Antoinette (Tony) Bozza and Rocco (Anna) Giacomino both of St. Catharines. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Joseph, David, Stephanie, Brittany, Amanda and Victoria. Devoted brother-in-law of Domenico Milano. Dear brother of Augustino (Angela) Giacomino, Enrico (Maria) Giacomino and brother-in-law of Teresa Basile, Michele (Maria) Milano and Antonio Milano. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister Maria Giacomino, brother-in-law Antonio Basile and sister-in-law Francesca. Thank-you to the staff at the Versa Care Centre North 2 for their exceptional care and passion shown toward their dad. Matteo's family will receive friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME 585 Carlton Street Monday 7-9 pm and Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Liturgy will be held at St. Alfred's Catholic Church on Wednesday August 9, 2006 at 10 am. Entombment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Vigil prayers will be recited at the funeral home Tuesday at 3 pm. If desired memorial donations may be made to the Down Syndrome Caring Parents (Niagara) or Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundations.
