Obituary of Lillia Fanny Walcer

WALCER, Lillia Fanny After a long fight with cancer, Lillia passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 23rd at the St. Catharines General Hospital in her 70th year. Beloved wife of Wally of almost 50 years. Devoted mother of Audrey (Fabian), Elaine (Bob), Sonny (Krista) and Linda (Doug). Predeceased by her children Roland (1960) and Shirley (1993). Nana to Dayna (Tom), Derrick, Diandra, Emily, Carson, Cooper, Samantha, Logan and David. Also survived by her brother Hylo (Stella), sister Nadean (Raymond) and nieces and nephews Kent, Cavin, Arron, Wade, Marvin, Kirk and Pamela. Daughter in law of Joe (Margaret) Walcer. Lillia's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Tuesday, July 25th from 9:30-11:30am. A funeral liturgy without mass will be celebrated in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday at 11:30am. Burial to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Shirley Walcer Talking Book Library-Saanich Peninsula Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
