Obituary of Erich Oppermann

Oppermann, Erich - Passed away peacefully early Wednesday July 12, 2006 in the comfort of his home from a natural death in his 82nd year. Loving brother to his sisters Hilda Rode of Germany, Sophie Paulus of Germany and Frenzel Leibfritz (Bruno) of St. Catharines. Will be sadly missed by his niece Cornelia Migus. Survived by 4 great grand nieces, 1 great grand nephew, 3 great-great grand nieces and 1 great-great grand nephew. Predeceased by his loving wife Barbara of 58 years. Also predeceased by his sisters Irma and Elizabeth. A special thanks to the nurses of Com Care and Pro Wellness. Mr. Oppermann is resting at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St. Visiting hours will take place on Friday July 14, 2006 between 2-4 and 7-9pm. A cleebration of Erich's life will be held on Saturday July 15, 2006 at the George Darte Funeral Chapel at 11am. Cremation will follow the service. Memorial remembrances in Erich's honour may be made to the Juravinski Cancer Centre.
