Obituary of John Albert Phillips

PHILLIPS, John Albert Surrounded with love, on Saturday, July 8th, John passed away at the St. Catharines General Hospital-NHS at the age of 69. John is survived by his wife Barbara and their children Sharon, Dale (Cathy), Darren (Tanya) and David (Julie). Granddad of Kennedy, Brandon and Kevin vanHooydonk, Alex and Cameron Phillips and Flynn and Riley Phillips. He is also survived by an extensive family here in Canada and in Australia. John was an honoured member of the Niagara Regional Police and retired after 33 years of service. John's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Wednesday, July 12th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A service to celebrate John's life will take place in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, July 13th at 11am. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Tender Wishes Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
