Obituary of Doris Emily Simmons

Simmons, Doris After a lengthy battle with cancer on Monday, June 26, 2006 at her residence in her 69th year. Loving wife of John, dear mother of Kelly Lalonde, John Simmons, James Simmons, Joe (Diane) Simmons, dear grandma of 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild, sister of Elgin Johnson, Marvin "Bud" Johnson, Harvey (Inez) Desjardin, Peter (Bonnie) Desjardin, Patricia Desjardin, Rita (Roy) Green, Annemarie (Bob) Jamieson, Leo (Sharon) Desjardin and predeceased by Harold, Pearle, Marion, Evelyn and Claire. When Doris's children were younger she was very much involved in the Spartans Lacrosse Organization.Cremation has taken place. There will be no service. Family will receive friends at their home on Saturday, July 1, 2006. Dontions can be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
