Marrone, Fioravante
Peacefully with his family by his side on Thursday, June 22, 2006 at St. Catharines General Hospital-NHS. Fioravante Marrone was in his 79th year. Beloved husband of Concettina, loving father of Marco and Susan Marrone, Louisa and Dino DiFrancesco, loving nonnie of Christopher, Eric, Matthew, Julian and Jeffery, loving brother of Teresa (the late Vincenzio) Costantini, Antonio and Elfina, Maria and Angelo Ciarma of Belgium, the late Ettore and his wife Fermina, Pietro and Liliana, dear brother-in-law of Josephine (the late Aldo) Somma, Antonietta (the late Umberto) Somma and many other brothers and sisters- in -law in Italy, loving uncle of many nieces and nephews. Mr. Marrone was a member of St. Alfred's Church, Club Roma, Associazione Nazionale Combattenti e Reduci and worked for the City of St. Catharines for 29 years before retiring.
Mr. Marrone is resting at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St. until Saturday at 9 a.m. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in St. Alfred's Church at 9:30 a.m. with Rite of Committal in Victoria Lawn Cemtery Mausoleum. Visiting Hours Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers for Fioravante will be celebrated in the funeral home on Friday at 3:00 p.m. Memorial Remembrances can be made to the Niagara Health System Foundation or Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation.
