Obituary of Ivan Hodgson

HODGSON IVAN On Monday June 12, 2006 at the St. Catharines General Hospital, at 86 years of age. Beloved husband of the late Marjorie. Loving father of Lucia Grillet, cherished grand father of Michelle Grillet, Stephen (Lisa) Grillet and great grand father of Devon,Taylor and Nikole Grillet. Dear brother of Lorna (the late Freddie)King of Orlando, Cinthy (the late Morris) Pollard of Victoria, Yvonne (the late Gilbert) Belgrave of Toronto. Ivan is survived by many nieces and nephews. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 24 and a member of St. Denis Church. He was employed with Sterling Varnish until retirement. Mr Hodgson is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. until Wednesday at 9:30am. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in St. Denis Church at 10am. Cremation to follow. Visiting hours are Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9pm. A Legion service will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday at 7pm. Memorial remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family..
