Obituary of Francesco Mortellaro

Mortellaro, Francesco Passed away peacefully at the Hotel Dieu- Shaver Hospital on Saturday June 10, 2006 after a courageous battle with cancer and diabetes in his 78th year. Loving brother of Ignazia (Salvatore) Spallino of Italy. He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, great-great nieces and nephews and his many dear friends. He was predeceased by 4 sisters Maria, Gina, Giuseppina, Melina and 3 brothers Gaspare, Antonio and Giuseppe. Francesco's family will receive friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME 585 Carlton Street St. Catharines on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St Alfred's Church on Tuesday June 13, 2006 at 9:30 am. Entombment in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Vigil prayers will be recited at the funeral home Monday at 3 pm.
