Obituary of Peter Ostap

OSTAP, Peter- It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Peter on October 23rd, 2008 at the St Catharines General Hospital, in his 93rd year. He is predeceased by his wife Mary (1988). Peter is survived by his loving daughters Pat (Dave Kowalchuk) and MaryJane (Henry Scholtens). Loving Gido to Terry ( Cindy), Jeromy( Sherry) and David. Great Grandfather to Jamea, Teagan, Spencer, Jackson and Hunter. Also survied by his brother Bill( Janet), niece Ann Scholtens and nephew Jim Ostap. A special thank you to the nursing staff on 6 west at the hospital for their excellent care. Peter is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street. The family will receive visitors on Friday from 2-4p.m. & 7-9p.m. A Funeral Service will take place on Saturday in the funeral home chapel at 10a.m. Interment at Victoria Lawn Cemetery to follow. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
