Obituary of John Louis Rothman

Rothman, John Louis - Peacefully on Monday August 18, 2008 at his home in his 84th year. Loving husband and best friend of Sandra for over 30 years. Great father and friend to Susie Tieng (Ty) of Etobicoke. Predeceased by his sons David and Michael. Survived by his sister Anne. Also survived by his sisters-in-law Barbara Milne (Ronald) of Vineland, Linda Ryerse (Robert) of Port Colborne, Patricia Elliott (Wayne) of Bayfield and many family members and close friends. John was the Superintendent of Special Education for the Lincoln County School Board. The family will recieve friends at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton Street. Cremation has taken place. Visiting hours are Friday September 5 between 2-4 and 7-9pm. A celebration of John's life will be held in the funeral home on Saturday September 6 at 11am. As an expression of sympathy, the family would appreciate donations to be made to the Niagara Peninsula Children's Centre in John's memory.
