Obituary of Henry Gordon Berge

BERGE, Henry Gordon It is with deep sadness the family announces the peaceful passing of a dear brother and uncle on Friday August 8, 2008 at the St. Catharines General Hospital, after a brief illness. Henry was in his 94th year. He was the beloved son of the late Olaf and Gerda Berge. Loving brother of Violet Franks, Fonthill, Shirley Street, Glenda and Bill Voth & Betty Berge, all of St. Catharines. Henry was predeceased by his sisters, Gerdis Barnard, Mabel Dingman, Dorothy Elliott, and Beverly Collins. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Henry retired from General Motors in 1974 after 33 years of service. At Henry's request there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. A private family inurnment will be held t a later date at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. The family would like to thank Dr. Ken Taylor and the nursing staff for the special care given to Henry.
