Obituary of Lorraine Therese Proulx

PROULX, Lorraine Therese- Passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Monday, August 4, 2008, at the Hamilton General hospital, in her 45th year. Beloved daughter of Mona and the late Rheal Proulx (1997) and of Marilyn and the late Ron (2003) Lauzon. Loving sister of Joanne (Marcel), Yvonne (Fern), Lise (Yvan), Connie (Eric), Shelley (Don), Mike (Simone), Richard (Sheila), Jerry and his daughter Rachelle. Forever cherished Aunt of Rachel. Lorraine is also survived and will be fondly remembered by many special nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and by many friends. Predeceased by her sister and brother in law Carol and Vito Strazzelle. Lorraine had a strong passions for writing poetry and making books for children. Everyone will remember Lorraine for her kindred spirit, precious smile. She will be greatly missed by her little dog Gizmo and by all who knew her. Lorraine's family will receive friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., on Thursday, August 7, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A celebration of Lorraine's life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, August 8, 2008, at 1p.m. Interment at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. If desired, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Society.
