Obituary of Dorothy Marie Niles

NILES, Dorothy ( nee Landry) - Passed away on Wednesday May 8th, 2013 with her loving family at Tufford Nursing Home at the age of 85. Beloved wife of George for 63 years. Cherished mother of Mike (Claudia), Andy (Barbara), Denis, Diane (Ray) Kopp and Mark (Wanda). Dorothy is predeceased by her daughter Theresa (Tina). Loving Grandma of Paul (Melanie), Ryan, Jennifer (Nico), Carly, Shane, Breanne (Ryland), Christopher (Lindsay), Steven, Amber, and Chelsy (Matt). Great grandmother of Cora and Sofia. She will be sadly missed by her sister Claire and her many nieces and nephews. The family wish to extend a very special thank you to all of the staff, especially the care givers, R.N.s, kitchen staff and Greg from Tufford Nursing Home for all of their care and compassion. We love you "Girls" and we will miss you! (Love Georgie).The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL Chapel, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Sunday from 2-4p.m. & 7-9p.m. A private family burial will take place. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Paroisse Immaculee Conception, 99-101 Garnett Street, St. Catharines on Monday at 11a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Tufford Nursing Home would be appreciated by the family.
