Obituary of Sandra Mc Laren Mackie

Mackie, Sandra Hope - After a lengthy battle, on July 17, 2008 at the St. Catharines General Hospital in her 67th year. Beloved wife of William D. Mackie. Loving and cherished mother to her son Derek McLaren and daughters Dallas McLaren and Cheryl Terrell. Granny to Amber, Daniel, Vanessa, Kayla, Kristina and Fallon and great-granny to Evan. Survived by her sisters and brothers Pat McLaren (Jack), Gaye Ford (Laura), Dorothy Davidson (Murray), Dana Ford (Danielle) and many nieces, nephews and close friends. Predeceased by her parents Roy and Dorothy Ford. Mrs. Mackie is resting at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton Street, until Monday at 10:30am. Visiting hours are on Sunday between 2-4 & 7-9pm. A celebration of Sandra's life will be held on Monday at 11am in the George Darte Funeral Chapel. Cremation will follow the service. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the St. Catharines General Hospital Cancer Care Centre.
