Obituary of Mark Philip Waters

WATERS, MARK PHILIP (1965-2008) - Passed away unexpectedly at home on June 26, 2008 in his 43rd year. Mark was the dearly loved son of Patricia (Cahill) Waters and the late J. Philip (Phil) Waters. Surviving him are his brothers and sisters: Linda (Peter) Dirks, St. Catharines, Tymn (Rebecca) Waters, Albuquerque, NM, Lori Waters, Toronto, and Christopher (Kara) Waters, Hamilton. His nieces Kate and Emma Dirks and Caillie Waters and his nephew Harris Waters remember with affection their Uncle Mark. His Poppa, Louis J. Cahill, also survives Mark. Mark will be missed by his many aunts, uncles and cousins in the Waters and Cahill families. Mark lived his life watching out for his friends on the street. He loved people, talking with everyone, making them feel welcome and always making people laugh. Mark was a warm, kindhearted and generous man who cherished his family and friends. Mark began a career as a graphic artist. He was extremely intelligent, creative and talented. Unable to get out much in recent years due to his physical disability, Mark reconnected with old friends and made countless new friends on Facebook. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL,585 Carlton St. on Tuesday July 8th from 7-9 p.m. A memorial mass will take place on Wednesday, July 9th at Star of the Sea Church at 11a.m. Interment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations to Out Of The Cold Program and the St. Vincent de Paul Society c/o Star of the Sea parish would be appreciated by the family.
