Obituary of Ivan Petrovic

Petrovic, Ivan - Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the St. Catharines General Hospital - NHS on Monday June 23, 2008 at the age of 63. Beloved husband for 38 years of Milica Krsnik. Loving father of John (Shannon Delano) and Nancy Petrovic. Cherished brother of Sister Delores, Ana and Kata and brother-in-law of Ivan (Kathy) Krsnik. Ivan will be fondly remembered by his many family and friends in Canada and Croatia. Ivan was a dedicated employee of Port Weller Drydocks for 32 years and a member of the Knights of Columbus. Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., on Friday June 27 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated from St. Alfred's Church on Saturday June 28 at 9:30 a.m. followed by interment at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Vigil prayers will held at 8 pm Friday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations made to St. Anthony Church in Welland would be greatly appreciated by the family.
