Obituary of Janet Ann Honsberger

HONSBERGER, Janet Ann (nee MaGarrey) - On Thursday, June 19th at Hospice Niagara at the age of 71. Loving wife of Hilliard (Hill) for over 50 years. Devoted mother of Mark (Lesley Newton), Greg (Pat) of Hamilton, Jeff, Jane (Brian Brushett) all of St. Catharines and predeceased by Kevin (2004). Proud and loving Nanny of Kelsey, Max, Megan, Noah, CJ, Luke, and Alexi. Survived by James MaGarrey Jr. (Patsy), Eleanor Switzer (Frank), Patricia Nugent (Tom); sister-in-law of Bob (Bev), Maureen (the late Jack) and many nieces and nephews. Janet is predeceased by her parents James MaGarrey and Anna (nee Whitechartis). Janet was a retiree of Scotia Bank (Parkway Branch). In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass to celebrate Janet's life will take place on Tuesday, June 24th at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church 316 Queenston Street, St. Catharines at 11am. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate any memorial donations be made to either Hospice Niagara or the St. Catharines General Hospital Oncology Department.
