Obituary of Rene Lavoie

LAVOIE, Rene - On Tuesday June 10, 2008 at his home in St. Catharines at 85 years of age. Dearly loved husband and best friend of the late Hazel (2007) for 59 years. Loving father of Larry and Hetty and Jim (Tracey 2005) of Fonthill. Dearly loved Grammpa to Andrea and Kyle. Dear brother of Adelard and Solange Lavoie, Jeanine and Aurel Dequanne and Pauline and Dick Meehan all from Chelmsford, ON. Survived by his sister in law Lorraine (Mike) Dowling. Rene will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, close friends and neighbors for his kindness and generosity. Rene was employed with Kimberley Clark for 35 years. To honor his wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Cremation has taken place. Memorial remembrances may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes Association in Rene's honour.
