Obituary of Virginia Sforza

Sforza, Virginia - Died peacefully on June 1, 2008 surrounded by her loving family, at Versa Care Home, in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Antonio for 58 years. Loving mother of Placido, Sergio, Frank and daughters-in-law Ascenza, Rosanna and Christine. Cherished Nonna of Anthony, Daniele, Margherita, Janice, Michael (Emily), Gina and Mark. Virginia wil be remembered by many nieces and nephews. Virginia is resting at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton Street until Wednesday at 9am. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 9:30am in St. Alfred's Church, 272 Vine Street. Visiting hours are Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Vigil prayers will be said in the funeral on Tuesday. Entombment at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Virginia's honour. The family wish to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Versa Care Home for their tender care and support of our mother.
