Obituary of Violet Janet Turner

Turner, Violet J. - At her residence on Thursday, May 29,2008 in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Charles (Chick). Loving mother of James (Carole), Joyce (Dave) Klassen and Janet Kostuk. Violet will be lovingly remembered by her 19 grandchildren and her many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, especially Cheryl Portugaise who she lived with for many years of her life. Survived by her sisters Josephine Paterson and Jane-Anne Hamblin. Violet is predeceased by her sons Robert and William and her granddaughter Tammi. The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street on Sunday at 2-4p.m. & 7-9p.m. A funeral service will take place in the funeral home chapel on Monday at 10a.m. Interment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
