Obituary of Michella Johanna Maria Darani

DARANI, Michella Johanna Maria Peacefully and while surrounded by her loving family on Friday, May 23rd at the St. Catharines General Hospital-NHS at the age of 90. Predeceased by her husband Candido Darani. Loving mother of Eddy, and much loved Oma of Brandon. Michella enjoyed gardening and was very active as a volunteer with various seniors organizations. Her reason for living was always her grandson Brandon with whom she enjoyed many activities such as going to St. Johns Conservation Area, and travelling to Disneyland, Holland, Nova Scotia and up north. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Michella's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Thursday, May 29th from 10-10:45am. A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will follow in the funeral home chapel at 11am. If desired, memorial donations to the Alzheimers Society would be appreciated by the family. The family wishes to extend a sincere thanks to Dr. Gruber, Dr. Rose and the staff of the St. Catharines General Hospital for their special care. Also, a special thanks to Lois Richardson, who was her caregiver for many years.
