Obituary of Lawrence Edward Semenchuk

Semenchuk, Ed Born on May 20, 1932, passed away on Wednesday, May 21, 2008. He was predeceased by his wife Mary (Oros) and his sister Gladys Bivand. Ed was the beloved father of John and his wife Monika (Laumann) and Larry and his wife Cyndy (Nezezon). He will be greatly missed by grandchildren Kyrsty, Katelyn, Christopher, Niko, Jakob and Kensie. He is survived by his sister Margie Nowasad.Ed was a past president and active member of the Grantham Lions Club. Ed retired from Genaire after a long career in 2002. Ed is resting at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St. where family will receive friends on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Liturgy without Mass will be celebrated in the chapel on Monday at 11 a.m. with cremation to follow. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.
